Emotional Intelligence and Resilience


This intensive one-day session, drawing on concepts from the work of Goleman and others, will develop the essential Emotional Intelligence competences of participants.

From this course, participants will have advanced their self-awareness and self-management (essential before they can manage others), motivation, empathy and ability to build working relationships, trust and rapport with others.

Having attended this course, participants will:

1. Fully understand the concept and component elements of Emotional Intelligence and why it is so important.

2. Be able to better understand and manage themselves before they can manage others.

3. Have developed their own empathy and understand why empathy matters.

4. Understand motivation and its types and sources as well as how to better motivate themselves and others.

5. Be able to use a range of techniques and approaches to better manage working relationships.
